Czechs vs. Austrians in Baden Finals

After an exciting Saturday in Baden the Finals of the Middle European Championship in Baden are set: In Women's and in Men's competition it's a duel between Czech Republic and Austria. Hana Klapalova/Lenka Hajeckova will challenge Sara Montagnolli/Barbara Hansel for the title. Martin Tichý/Jan Dumek face top seeded Alexander Horst/Florian Gosch.

Montagnolli/Hansel clinched their ticket to the final first. The duo defeated the top seeded Schwiager-Sisters 2:0 (21:18, 21:16). Klapalova/Hajeckova celebrated a 2:0 (21:19, 21:18) win against Eirka Fabjan/Simona Fabjan from Slovenia.

In the first semi final of Men's competition Gosch /Horst beat their compatriots Clemens Doppler/Matthias Mellitzer 2:0 (21:17, 21:19). Before that Tichý/Dumek triumphed over Peter Varga/Matej Hukel 2:0 (21:10, 21:13).
