CL: Bled loses to titleholder

Trentino BetClic and Dinamo Moscow will battle for the trophy of the 2009/2010 CEV Indesit Champions League after a delightful couple of semifinals set the tone this afternoon in Lodz for a great Volleyball weekend.
In front of a sold-out arena the local hosts of PGE Skra BELCHATOW enjoyed a brilliant start in their game against Dinamo, but were then hampered by too many mistakes in attack and could not finalize their quest for the final victory. In the second semifinal, the defending champions of TRENTINO BetClic experienced some shakes only in the second set but finally clearly cruised past Slovenian MEL-champion ACH Volley BLED to try to double up last year's victory in Prague and extend their domination in the most prestigious international Volleyball competitions.
"I can not be satisfied with this match. The real key is coming out if you have a look at the stats of the third set. We lost it 25-21 but we gave away a total of 13 points on unforced errors. In this way you can not compete at the highest level in Volleyball', said Canadian coach and ACH Volley BLED mentor Glenn Hoag.
CEV Indesit Champions League, 2009/10, Semifinals:
PGE Skra Belchatow vs. Dinamo Moskau 1:3 (25-23, 19-25, 21-25, 17-25)
ACH Volley Bled vs. Trentino BetClic 1:3 (13-25, 25-23, 21-25, 17-25)
