Rijeka wants to be on top again

The best four teams in Women's MEL meet on Saturday in the Spaladium Arena in Split to fight for the two spots in the Final. ZOK Rijeka KVIG tips off the event with a Croatian duel against hosting ZOK Split 1700. In the second semi final lat year's finalist SVS Post faces Nova Branik Maribor.

Titleholder Rijeka was the dominant team of the regular season. The Croats only suffered two losses against local rival Split and SVS Post, both by 2:3. Rijeka won the majority of the other 16 games easily 3:0. Semi-final opponent Split qualified both as host and by clinching the fourth spot and now hopes for the support of their fans.

Austrian champion SVS Post were second on the final table. They won both meetings this season against Nova KBM Branik Maribor and now looks to make it to the final with the third victory against the Slovenians.
