Split beats Rijeka in Croatian Derby

In Women's MEL ZOK Rijeka KVIG (CRO) lost a 5-set-thriller on Saturday at ZOK Split 1700 (CRO). Last placed Vital Ljubljana (SLO) suffered another 0:3-loss against VK Slavia Bratislava (SVK). Leader Rijeka finishes the season with only two losses. With the win Final Four host Split moved to fourth place, ahead of Doprastav Bratislava (SVK) and Calcit Kamnik (SLO) who also have 28 points at the end of the season.
Mladost to Challenge Cup Final-4?
Men's MEL Final Four participant Mladost Zagreb (CRO) has won it's first Quarterfinal game in Men's GM Capital Challenge Cup at Lokomotiv Kharkiv (UKR) by 3:2 (25:21, 23:25, 19:25, 25:22, 15:12) last week. The Croatians look to move to the Final Four with another win in front of their home crowd on Wednesday. Their success is another prove for the outstanding quality of the Middle European League.
With Hypo Tirol (AUT) and ACH Volley Bled (SLO) two other MEL-Final Four teams will clash in the Top-6 round of the CEV indesit Champions League.
