Rijeka takes the lead

In Women's MEL three games of the 16th round were scheduled on Saturday. ZOK Rijeka KVIG (CRO) took the lead in the standings with a 3:0-win against VK Doprastav Bratislava (SVK). Nova KBM Branik Maribor (SLO) celebrated a close 3:2-win against ZOK Split 1700 (CRO). Last placed Vital Ljubljana (SLO) suffered another 0:3-loss against VK Slavia Bratislava (SVK).

After the 13th win ZOK Rijeka KVIG (CRO) finally is on top of the standings of Women's MEL. The Croats didn't lose a set for the eleventh time this season on Saturday against VK Doprastav Bratislava (SVK).

Maribor beats Split by 3:2
The game of Nova KBM Branik Maribor (SLO) against ZOK Split 1700 (CRO) was much closer. The home team celebrated it's win after five thrilling sets. Four players scored in double figures for the Slovenians, who moved to the third spot in the standings. Split on the other hand dropped to fifth.

Slavia has no mercy with last placed team
VK Slavia Bratislava (SVK) had no problems beating winless Vital Ljubljana (SLO). For the thirteenth time this season the Slovenians couldn't win a set.
