SVS Post gets away win

In Women's MEL this week nearly each day a game is played. On Wednesday leader and Austrian Champion SVS Post collected a clear victory at ZU Zilina (SVK). Nova Branik Maribor (SLO) has two home games coming up on Thursday und Friday. ZOK Rijeka KVIG (CRO) wants to win it's eleventh win in it's twelfth game on Saturday at ATSC Sparkasse Klagenfurt (AUT).

The place of a team in the MEL-standings may not tell the whole truth about the real strength of a team. Nova Branik Maribor (SLO) for example is currently only tenth. But they are only ranked in the lower third of the table because they have only played ten games, winning seven of them. They soon could climb up in the standings, when they continue their good performances on Thursday and Friday. They first host VK Doprastav Bratislava (SVK). One day later winless Bottom team Vital Ljubljana (SLO) travels to nearby Maribor.

SVS Post gets away win
SVS Post (AUT) showed no weaknesses in their 3:0 (25:11, 25:17, 25:16)-win at ZU Zilina (SVK) on Wednesday. They finished off the Slovaks in only 59 minutes. The hosts had to play without their starting setter Martina Turianska.

Klagenfurt welcomes Rijeka
ATSC Sparkasse Klagenfurt (AUT) hosts second placed ZOK Rijeka KVIG (CRO) on Saturday. The Croats have only suffered only one loss this MEL-season. In the first game of those two teams Rijeka got a clear 3:0 (25:19, 25:16, 25:13)-win.

Fifth in a row for Kamnik
With four wins in a row Calcit Kamnik (SLO) is one of the hottest teams of the league. To get to the Final Four despite a bad start into the season the Slovaks have to continue winning against VK Slavia UK Bratislava (SVK) on Sunday.
