Tirol beats Top-Team

There is a new Team on top Men's MEL after this weekend's 10th round games. In the top clash of the round HYPO Tirol Volleyballteam (AUT) celebrated a 3:0-victory against former leader HAOK Mladost (CRO). VK Chemes Humenne is now in first place, but has already played three more games than the second seeded Austrians.

After a rough 2:6-Start HYPO Tirol came back in strong fashion against Mladost Zagreb. The Austrians kept their composure at the end of the sets an scored all the "big points'. Gabriel Chohcolak (22 points) and dos Santos (14 points) led Tirol to it's eighth win in nine MEL-games. "It was a spectacular game. At the end of the sets we were better. The block functioned well in the deciding moments. After all it was a good game from both teams. HAOK Mladost has shown that it is rightfully one of the top teams of the league', said Hypo TiroL's Assistant-Coach Gernot Hupfauf.

Humenne downs hotVolleys
VK Chemes Humenne has taken the top of the standings with a thrilling 3:2-win against the hotVolleys (AUT). The final Four looks ou of reach now for the seventh seeded Austrians.

Aich/Dob is still hoping
SK Posojilnica can still dream of reaching the Final Foure thanks to a 3:1-win at Salonit Anhovo (SLO). Even without Ivan Kenderov the Austrians had ther better end against the penultimate Slovenians.

Still no luck for MOK Zagreb.
On Friday last placed MOK Zagreb (CRO) had no chance hosting Diamant Kaposvar (HUN). The Croats lost all of their ten games this season.
